This extruded yellow brick slip is a true through body yellow and would be suitable for projects in and around London and the South East of England.
It has a sanded face with light black spotting which is typical of a yellow brick and would be similar in colouration to products made at the famous Smeed Dean factory.
Yellow bricks were traditionally made at the Smeed Dean brickworks by adding fly ash to the local clays. The fly ash served as a body fuel to help fire the product but also helped promote the yellow colouration to develop.
These are inperial sizing not metric so are bigger than most bricks made in the UK currently.
