What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Woocommerce

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of basket contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, Office Staff, Administrators and Web Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

Payments

We accept payments using the third party gateway RBS Worldpay. No Credit/Debit card information is stored on our systems as all payment processing is performed by RBS Worldpays systems.

We will transmit and receive your personal data between systems in the event that you ‘Checkout’ an order.

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

In order to process your order we collect the following personal data:

Billing Name, Telephone Number, Billing Address, Delivery Name, Telephone Number, Address, Agreement to our terms and conditions of sale, privacy policy and shipment information agreement, products you have ordered, the IP address and cookie information required by WooCommerce to function.

If you contact us using the ‘Contact Us‘ page or the form in the ‘Brick Calculator’ we collect the following information:

Name, Telephone Number, Email address, Message, Product currently being viewed, File Uploads attached to the contact submission along with IP address and any cookie information required by the ‘Ninja Forms Plugin’ in order for it to process and store the form submission.

If you use the forms on our ‘Installers‘ page the following fields are stored and sent to the third party you have contacted:

Name, Email, Telephone Number, Message, IP address and any cookies required by the ‘Ninja Forms Plugin’

You should contact the Third Party installer to request their privacy policy if you contact them using the forms on this page.

Cookies
