The Himley Blue Smooth is a 'Staffordshire Blue' engineering quality brick slip. This colouration is typical of the staffordshire area and has been used for centuries in engineering works such as bridges.
This product has a smooth finish and square regular appearance akin to an engineering finish. It is relatively monotone in nature and works well with grey mortar colours.
As with smooth blue bricks this product is often used for detailing courses, differentiated soldier courses and archways and quoin detailing in mixed media applications such as render with brick detailing. It is fully frost resistant and suitable for use below damp-proof.
